Here’s how. Create your unique profile right here.  This is the easiest way to get in touch with us.  Write as much detail about yourself as you would want a reader to know.  N.A.G is about real people, not elusive profiles of people.

Read a few guides and become familiar with the site and the format for our guides.

*Remember, we’re not looking for general or vague information about your city.  Our guides are intelligently navigated days that you would actually have in your city.  Drop the tourist stuff and tell us what you would tell your friends.

Write a blog.  Start contributing to our blog.  N.A.G is not about people traveling, it is about people living.  So, let your personality shine.  The more readers connect to you, the more they will connect to the information you are giving.

Hit the ADD A GUIDE and write your guide!  Please include photos and we’ll do the rest.

We can’t guarantee you’ll be published right away, or at all.  We take our time to edit and do some fact checking and we may need to get in touch with you before we decide to accept your piece.

Once your guide is approved for publishing, you’ll get an email confirmation with a link to your guide so you can share it with your community.

THINGS THAT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT GET PUBLISHED?:
~Suggestions for big chain restaurants or fast food joints.
~Racism. Bigotry.  Ignorance of culture.
~Reviews.  We are not a review site – go to yelp or tripadvisor and wile away your time navigating through that labyrinth.

The Not Another Guide community is a diverse bunch of locals who are interested in real experiences.  Whether you’re 21 and into all night clubbing or 61 and into Tango and black & white films, your story and the way you live matters.

A good travel guide is not just about recommending good bars, or restaurants, it's about contributing an experience. You don’t necessarily have to have any previous writing experience but depth of knowledge, good humor and wit will be looked upon favorably.
